Dining at Utopia is guided by a simple philosophy. Fresh is always best. Every dish is prepared from scratch in our kitchen using quality, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Our menu features premium steaks, seasonal fruit and vegetables, house made sauces, hand churned ice creams, delicate pastries, and freshly baked breads and scones. Set within our heritage listed stone chalet overlooking the waterfall, the restaurant offers a relaxed and welcoming dining experience in the heart of Waterfall Gully.
High Tea in a Historic Tearoom
High tea at Utopia is a refined experience that celebrates the building’s origins as a national park tearoom. Guests enjoy tiered stands filled with handcrafted sweet and savoury delicacies, served alongside freshly baked buttermilk scones and premium teas. Vintage china, attentive service, and the surrounding natural setting make high tea ideal for special occasions or an unhurried afternoon at Waterfall Gully.
Please note the high tea menu is not recommended for children under 12. Children are welcome in groups of eight or more on our Sugar and Spice High Tea package.
- Restaurant High Tea. $55 per person. Available Friday to Sunday between 10am and 2pm. Suitable for guests aged 12 and over. Groups up to 8.
- High Tea Celebrations. Morning or afternoon bookings available Wednesday to Sunday. Suitable for groups from 8 to 110 guests. Bookings essential.
- Kids High Tea Parties. Available for children’s groups of 8 or more. A dedicated kids high tea package is available to download.
